Bodypainting Extravaganza: Ancient Cultures (18+)
The theme for the 2024 Bodypainting Extravaganza is the exploration of ANCIENT CULTURES. Five special effects make-up artists will demonstrate their craft on the catwalk by transforming five models into the cultural icons of lost civilizations. This year’s cast of artists includes host Mark Greenawalt, Brandon McGill, Brandy Wise, Carrie Esser, and special guest Pashur from Los Angeles. In just over two hours, they will decorate their living canvases (models Ashley Danger, Felix, Heather Renee Nance, Griffin Maria, and Juliet Wilde, respectively) and showcase their collective collaborations in a runway walk and final photo shoot. Cameras allowed after the first 20 minutes. Seating is limited and those in attendance will be the only ones who will ever see this evanescent art that will only exist in photos after this Friday evening showcase of ‘living art'.
