Marv Wolfman is a multi-award-winning writer of comic books, animation, videogames, novels, and much more. Among the many stories Marv is known for are his run on Marvels Tomb of the Dracula, where he created Blade in 1973 with artist Gene Colon and the New Teen Titans with artist George Perez in 1980. Other characters Marv help create are Black Cat, Bullseye, Nova, Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg and Deathstroke, just to name a few. Marv rewrote the history of the DC universe as the author of Crisis on Infinite Earths. This was a first of its kind cross-over event that set the DC universe on a new path. In 2011, Marv was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards Hall of Fame.
